Duelist Pack Yusei 3 and Duelist Pack Crow: Part 2

4. Justice Bringer
Effect: Once per turn, when the effect of an opponent's Special Summoned monster activates, you can negate its activation.
Thoughts: You can stop popular loops (like faultrol and infernity archfiend) and you can crap on stardust by chaining bottomless…hmm…anti-meta deck’s new tech card? Possibly. Its Earth attribute and low ATK stat make it seem useless. And I’m not convinced its on King Tiger Wanghu’s level of excellence. But he is searchable by ROTA. We will see where this guy goes.

5. Bri Synchron
Effect: If this card is sent to the Graveyard for a Synchro Summon, until the End Phase, that Synchro Monster gains 600 ATK and its effect(s) is negated.
Thoughts: You are a 4 star tuner and you look like a gundam…ok, you have my attention. I am intrigued by his boost effect that doesn’t shit on your syncro monster like hyper syncron does. At worst, you will make an excellent edition to my Yusei Fudo Fanboy deck. Maybe this guy would make Syncron Explorer and Summoner monk appear in the meta. Anyone else remember Summoner monk? Me neither. Ha!

6. Synchro Material
Effect: Select 1 face-up monster your opponent controls. If you Synchro Summon this turn, you can use that monster as a Synchro Material Monster. You cannot conduct your Battle Phase this turn.
Thoughts: Hmm, soul exchange for syncros eh? Me likey. If you are a tuner whore, this saves room in your deck so you don’t have to pimp out non-tuner monsters. I’m about to bust out my pimp cane! Snap! And I know what eles you are thinking. Is it time to steal your opponents stardusts with your formula syncrons? No its 8:30, stupid. Hahaha, see what I did there? Oh, you wish you hadn’t…I know.

Now I have a question for Boost Warrior, The Big One Warrior, Black-Feathered Guidance and Black Return. Why are you shiny? Like, are you good and I’m just not seeing it? What’s up?

The reprints of cards in these sets are nice. I like that Cards for Black Feathers, Delta Crow Anti-reverse, Shield Wing, Effect Veiler, and Cards of Consonance. Fun times! If these sets were a facebook status, I would like that bitch! Hahaha! Get it? No?...I feel like we have been down this road before…

Those are my thoughts on the sets. Overall, not too impressed with them. I like a few cards, but not enough to buy any boxes.

Peace off you smexy bitches.

Duelist Pack Yusei 3 and Duelist Pack Crow: Part 1

Now, you know me. I like to talk about children’s trading cards. And these duelist packs intrigue me. Some of these cards are amazing! And some of them make my gag reflex go into overdrive, maybe even Stardust Overdrive! Hahaha! Get it? No? It’s funneh because…shut up. =p

1. Blackwing - Kochi the Daybreak
Effect: If this card was Special Summoned, this card cannot be used as a Synchro Material Monster.
Thoughts: Faaaaaail! Now, this card isn’t terrible, but seriously? The only thing it has going for it is its compatablitiy with Shura. And they shut down the easy Shura combo. You suck konami. =p

2. Blackwing - Jet the Blue Sky
Effect: Activate by sending this card from your hand to the Graveyard during damage calculation. A "Blackwing" monster you control is not destroyed by that battle.
Thoughts: This card could actually be pretty good. It is highly searchable with whirwind…oh wait…thanks for that one too konami! =p But all hater-ade aside, this card actually intrigues me. Maybe it would be a good tech card if whirlwind went back to 2 or 3. I see a lot of potential in this card. Kalut is not always the answer.

3. Blackwing - Zephyros the Elite
Effect: You can return 1 face-up card you control to the hand to Special Summon this card from your Graveyard and take 400 damage. The effect of "Blackwing - Zephyros the Elite" can only be used once per Duel.
Thoughts: Now that is what I’m talking about! Highly spashable card that will make a tech Gale great in every generic dark deck! Oh wait, how does that help blackwing decks? Um…well, extra blizzard target and sirroco/bora combos? I will take it.

Stay tuned for Part 2! My thoughts on Yusei’s cards and a few other cards from the sets! ;)

Peace off you smexy bitches.

Shinkuro Shoukan, Seibā Sutā Doragon!

Are you a huge fanboy? Do you like monsters with ridiculously hard summoning conditions? If the answers to these questions were “yes” then I have got the deck list, with a silly pink dragon, just for you! =]

And of course I am referring to SAVIOR DRAGON! (or majestic dragon if you don’t like to scream monster names in yusei’s Japanese voice)

While the majestic series has almost no practical application, (except in the rare situations where you will see other anime boss monsters, like Scar Red Nova Dragon) they are still increadibly hilarious and I enjoy being the king of the scrubs when I summon Savior Star Dragon in Attack Mode. =]

I call it “Savior Plants”…I know, so creative.

Decklist: 40 Cards

Monsters: 20 Cards
Dark Armed Dragon               x1
Tytannial, Princess of Camellas x1
Caius the Shadow Monarch  x3
Cyber Dragon                           x2
Lonefire Blossom                    x2
Evil Thorn                                x3
Dandylion                                 x2
Spore                                         x1
Sangan                                      x1
Debris Dragon                        x3
Majestic Dragon                     x1

Spells: 11 Cards
One for One                         x1
Foolish Burial                    x1
Pot of Avarice                   x2
Super Solar Nutrient       x3
Cold Wave                           x1
Giant Trunade                   x1
Dark Hole                            x1
Monster Reborn                x1

Traps: 9 Cards
Trap Stun                             x2
Seven Tools of the Bandit   x2
Bottomless Trap Hole         x2
Torrential Tribute               x1
Solemn Judgment               x1
Mirror Force                       x1

Extra Deck: 15 cards
Majestic Star Dragon                                    x1
Stardust Dragon                                            x2
Red Dragon Archfiend                                 x1
Black Rose Dragon                                       x2
Black-Winged Dragon                                  x1
Brionac, Dragon of the Ice Barrier           x1
Goyo Guardian                                               x1
Iron Chain Dragon                                        x1
Ally of Justice Catastor                               x1
Colossal Fighter                                             x1
Chimeratech Fortress Dragon                   x2

Now this deck has your standard Debris Plants cards. The usual suspects if you will. You know how they all do.

Now for those who have no idea what “Evil Thorn” and “Super Solar Nutrient” do, I will make a simple chart

Evil thorn (or dandylion tokens) + Super Solar Nutrient = Lonefire = Lonefire = Tytannial (once you look up these cards effects, my math checks out)

And “Evil Thorn” is also a 1 star monster, which can help in summoning the Tech Majestic Star dragon. And an easy dark monster to dump makes “Dark Armed Dragon” your surprise butt-secks card.

Whilie this deck probably would not win you a regionals (believe me, I tried with this engine) it is still a really fun deck where you can summon Yusei’s boss monster.

And this build is also compatable with “Formula Syncron” and “Shooting Star Dragon!” But more on that later. I know, I’m such a tease. =]

Peace off you smexy bitches.
